BIO
Aubrey Campbell is a private investigator with expertise in dangerous goods and aviation security consultation.  In 2011, Mr. Campbell established CAMSECO Investigations and Security Services, LLC, and serves the community as President/CEO.  He has over 36 years experience in managing multi-modal global dangerous goods transportation and security programs.  He served 20 years in the United States Army assigned to Apache and Blackhawk Helicopter Brigades, Bulk Petroleum Logistics, and Engineer Units primarily working with explosives and flammable jet fuels.  Mr. Campbell retired from the US Army in 1996 as a Sergeant First Class.  As a Gulf War Veteran with 20 years of active duty, Mr. Campbell received three Meritorious Service Medals and numerous other medals for superlative service.  

He began his civilian career in 1997 as a Special Agent (Dangerous Goods) with the Office of Civil Aviation Security, Federal Aviation Administration; one of 6000 incumbents applying for 100 positions.  His career took a major turn, when terrorists attacked the Nation on September 11, 2001.  Mr. Campbell’s faithful and dedicated service during that period resultedin him receivingthe Department of Transportation Distinguished Service Award signed by Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta.

In 2003, Mr. Campbell voluntarily transitioned into the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to serve as Senior Inspector (Cargo Security) in charge of the Airport Security Program at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston, Texas.

In 2004, Mr. Campbell returned to the US Department of Transportation, Research and Special Program Administration as Hazmat Safety Assistance Team Coordinator for the Southwest Region.  Mr. Campbell served in this outreach position until promoted to Supervisor, Hazmat Safety Assistant Team in 2008.

In May 2008, Mr. Campbell transitioned from the US Department of Transportation through early retirement.  In June 2008, Baker Hughes, Inc. hired Mr. Campbell to run its Dangerous Goods and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Programs.  Mr. Campbell served as Senior Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor until early retirement in March 2014.

Mr. Campbell has an MBA and BA in Business from Texas Southern University and an Associate’s Degree in Business from Central Texas College.  Mr. Campbell is a proud member of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI).
